You don’t have to come to Las Vegas just for gambling only, you can experience wildlife right inside a hotel, because Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ is being performed in-front of a captivated audience, and continues to amaze, with stunning visuals that make this musical production a show you’ll never forget and want to see more than once. Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Veggas is the host to this unforgettable, breathtaking spectacle of animals that are brought to life by performers, whose detailed costumes, intricate makeup and carved masks transport you to the African savanna.

Whether you have seen the Disney film or not, ‘The Lion King’ stage transformation is a spectacle that all who appreciates musical theater will enjoy. You’ll see gazelles leaping across stage, feel the vibration of stampedes, and be at the edge of your seat when the stage transforms into Pride Rock and Timon is hanging precariously above a waterfall. You’ll almost feel as if you’re in Africa as the flocks and herds of animals leap, fly and scamper, while the flora blossoms and blows in the wind. This amazing production features the Oscar-winning song ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’ and ‘Circle of Life’, both written by Elton John and Tim Rice. The pulsating rhythms will flow through you and make you want to get out of your seat and dance in the isles. Additional songs were added along with extra scenes that flesh out the characters for an adult audience.

Performance times are Monday to Thursdays at 7:30pm – Saturdays and Sundays at 4:30pm and at 8pm. There are no performances on Fridays. Tickets range from $113.00 down to $64.00. If the ‘Lion King’ whets your appetite for more wildlife, check out Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat , or the ‘Wildlife Habitat’, which are all located at major hotels in Vegas. But, none can top the truly one-of-a-kind experience of the magnificent production of ‘The Lion King’ live performance, which is celebrating its one year anniversary and is the most popular show on the Strip. Don’t miss out, see ‘The Lion King’ in Vegas.

The art scene in Nashville has been picking up steam over the past few years, and although it’s very much still dominated by the music scene, there are some very welcome signs of life. Not that the music scene is anything to turn one’s nose up at, because the history here is pretty exquisite, and some of the landmark names in music have origins or experiences here. It continues to be a thriving place for musicians and music lovers, and there are hotels right here to help make any visit here more than nice, and often you’ll want to come visit twice.

It’s difficult to avoid the fantastic choices available in live music here, and there’s no real good reason to avoid it. People exploring all genres are finding niches here in Nashville, and there’s something exciting to listen to every night of the year. But there is an interesting performance scene here as well, and the visual art scene is awfully interesting, and in the case of people like David Hellams , performance art and visual art come together to make fascinating and confounding works that interrogate how we structure our realities. His body of work has elusive and disparate elements that all come together in an uneasy part of the consciousness, and this seems to be precisely the point.

Or perhaps it’s one point among many. There are detailed sketches of Richard Simmons and other pop iconographies, and performance works where he goes through the streets at night holding a chair as if he’s just about to sit down or stand up. It’s a brink point, or an edge, a moment before something is about to happen. He bases his ideas on the symbolists, remixing them with a more contemporary definition of symbol to move it into the realm of representational art. The notion that the work is representational might be doubly confounding for some, and reassuring for others, but at the very root it’s extraordinarily interesting, and it will be even more interesting to see how his work develops in a city that is open enough to make room for new ideas.

Seattle is known for quite a few of its aspects. It is frequently considered to be the coffee capital of the country and it is also known for having initiated the grunge movement. And specifically regarding the geographic elements of the city, it is well known for the amount of rain it gets and also its location off of Puget Sound. The Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners and the SuperSonics are common sports associations to the city. Finally there are some of the city landmarks that are also recognized and strongly identify the city. These are the Space Needle and Pike Place Market.

Seattle has also made its way onto both the big and the little screen. It was the setting of the popular movie Sleepless in Seattle and it is the location of the current popular television series Grey’s Anatomy. Dark Angel is also set in Seattle as well as were the films It happened at the World’s Fair and iCarly. These films and television programs have helped bring Seattle into the mainstream pop culture consciousness. Sleepless in Seattle was enormously popular and starred Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. Attendance at the Space Needle increased drastically after the release of that film. And many of the visitors had come from out of the state and were staying in one of the Seattle luxury hotels.

Grey’s Anatomy is a medical drama that deals with the lives of residents, interns and their mentors in the fictional hospital called Seattle Grace Mercer West Hospital. It is currently in its sixth season and continues to grow in popularity. It has been claimed that the cast is contracted through at least eight seasons of the show. It has won two Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes and remains one of the most popular shows on prime time television. The stars of Grey’s Anatomy include Patrick Dempsey who plays the sex symbol Dr. Derek Shepherd, as well as Isaiah Washington, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl and Chandra Wilson among others.
