TransGlobe Provides a Good Vibe

Moving to a new city is stressful.  Moving to a new city is fun and exciting.  It can be when the team from Transglobe Property Management is on your side.  When my sister and I decided to head North and move to the beautiful city of Ottawa, Canada we really did not know where to begin.  Her line of work was making pastries, and my line of work was making paintings.

A mutual friend put us in touch with  Transglobe Property Management and they helped us not only find an apartment, but a space for her to set up shop and a place for me to get down to work.  They really listened to what we wanted, what we desired, and they provided their services in a way that left us completely satisfied, in all realms.  From the locations, to the price, they were there to see that we got just exactly what we asked them to provide.

They took the time to listen to what we had to say, the questions we had to ask.  They really heard what it was that we were saying.  I was in a bank a few months ago, inquiring about a transaction that was very much affecting my life, and the teller was text messaging while helping me.  What does that equal?  It equals so bad of a customer service I can not even think of it.  But with TransGlobe, our welfare was there business.  And it showed, it was felt.

They knew what was important to us, and they helped us to find that.  They did not need a prompt from us, they thought of things that we had not, they anticipated what was necessary and provided us with what we wanted, before we even expressed that want.  Moving this time was such a delight.  Oh sure, a bit of stress, but we knew what we were headed for, and we headed for it with eyes wide open.

Team Support and Conflict Management

It is important for the members of a sales team, or a marketing team, or any team for that matter, to support one another.  When the individuals support one another and share genuine and true business and social relations, the trust that is formed will function to further the effectiveness of the team and the enthusiasm of the members.  If a conflict arises it is imperative that the team leader work quickly and effectively in finding a resolution and leadership training will give those leaders the tools necessary for making certain that this will happen.  It is difficult to work within any group, when any of the members are experience a conflict, even when you are not involved personally, everyone begins to walk on eggshells, and there is the threat that trust will be lost forever.  Conflicts between people are bound to arise, even among the best of teams.  This happens quite a bit at the beginning of the process, as individuals have their own aspirations and ideas.

Cultural and societal differences may influence peoples’ opinions and it takes a bit of time for people to get to know one another, and really appreciate each members’ individuality.  A great leader, with sufficient corporate training behind them, will be able to anticipate and even foresee the probability that a conflict is threatening to present itself.  They will be able to read the signs, as they to will know those that are working for them.  The performances of everyone will be affected and this is the reason the leaders need to really observe, and to stop a conflict before it either gets to big to be resolved, or threatens the success of the current project, and therefore the success of the company on the whole.  Leaders who are successful will make certain that morale is maintained and the continued emphasis on the importance of each of the team members.  Keeping people up to date on all the business will also bring people back to a group of people that can and will successful work with and support each other.

Investing Time and Energy in the Communities

There’s a world of difference when you move into a living or working space where the management cares about its clients.  From the very beginning, when you first start looking at our listings on the internet, you’ll see that great care has been taken to make your search easy, and that we offer a fantastic selection of properties to choose from.  We provide all the necessary information to help you determine which space is the right space for you to begin looking with us.  That care doesn’t stop there.  At TransGlobe Property Management, we consider your relationship with us to be a number one priority, and it continues as long as you’re here.

We have an excellent record of customer service, and are very proud to be serving the communities and neighborhoods here.  Canada is one of the best places to live, and ranks with Australia for its livability.   This means that there are generations before us who have worked very hard to make our way of life possible.  Investing time and energy in the communities we serve is our way of giving back, and paying a debt for the future.  Civic sensibility isn’t something that comes naturally to most people, but for some reason Canada has a fantastic reputation for it.

This is something we find very exciting at TransGlobe Property Management, where our commitment is to our clients.  Civic mindedness means leaving a good legacy for the generation after us, and we’re delighted to participate in the life of the neighborhoods we serve.  We offer splendid spaces to live and work, so that you can be at your best, and we promptly handle all issues that come up, so that you know you’re working with people who care.

The Corruption of Myanmar

The South East Asian city of Myanmar has long been ranked as the most corrupt nation in the world, with the African city of Somalia coming in a close second and the country of Iraq in third place.  The deterring agencies of anti-corruption and anti-money laundering are not in place as strongly in Myanmar, also known as Burma, and Somalia as they are in some other countries, and this is one of the causes for the massive cases in the the political realm, the business realm and the social realm.

And the leaders of a corrupt regime or government will get away with as much as they are allowed to get away with.  The watchdog group for the world, is Transparency International,  and they put out a report each year called the Corruption Perceptions Index.  This is a ranking systems of all the countries, based on the known cases from the prior year.  One hundred and eighty countries are ranked, as they investigate the perception that the public has of their own country, as well as take into the consideration the perceptions of the politicians and the officials.

Corruption breed not only social apathy, but repression and poverty (http://www.nationsencyclopedia.com/economies/Asia-and-the-Pacific/Burma-Myanmar-POVERTY-AND-WEALTH.html)as well, and Myanmar is the text book case of a region in such a state of disarray and sadness.  Throughout history, apathy in the people has eventually turned into an explosion of human initiative.  People get pushed to such a state, that they just simply take matters into their own hands, in an attempt to make the changes necessary for their continued existence and the survival of their society.

Not many years ago, public protest was illustrated when the monks of Myanmar led marches against the government for eight days.  This was once once considered to be one of the jewels of the country, and is now the most miserable place in the world.  Much is blamed on the seizing of power by the Junta of the country in 1988, for since then it has been a reign of mismanagement, repression and corruption.

ChooseHotTubsDirect and charity work

Charity work is one of the noblest things a person can do. And giving back to your community is something all local businesses and businesses in general should do as well. The CEO of one Internet Company made sure to make his voice known when it came to natural disaster relief. After the United States suffered its worst series of hurricanes after Rita, Ike and of course Katrina decided not to sit back and watch others build the communities back together. Choosehottubsdirect.com CEO Steve Barbarich decided to donate 15 bucks from every sale of a certain hot tub on his website to the relief after Hurricane Ike.

Barbarich has decided to make charity work part of his business arsenal. He believes it’s important to give back to the community if you can and does so in a number of ways. He believes that no matter what kinds of people are affected by disaster, they still deserve help.

Isn’t it great to hear about someone giving back. The CEO believes that no matter how little a person can give that it will eventually add up and make a difference. This is great encouragement for all small businesses. Because really every little bit counts in ways that you will never be able to see.

If your business cannot provide a monetary donation, think about mobilizing employees to help out or volunteer in your area. It does not have to be for disaster relief, charity work comes in all shapes and sizes and organizations need help everyday.

Think about what you enjoy in your life. If you like animals, consider volunteering with others in your company to help out the Humane Society. Or if you have a cause you support consider volunteering to walk in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event. It can lead to excellent team bonding and of course, doing good always feels good.

Steven Barbarich and philanthropy

Charity is so important and a very rewarding experience. And when someone makes sure it is part of their mission in business to make sure he gives back, it’s admirable. And that is what Steven Barbarich is doing. But first, let’s get a little bit of a background on Mr. Barbarich.

Barbarich is a graduate of the Harvey Mudd College with a degree in engineering. He is an inventor and author and also has his own business. He operates a website that sells hot tubs and outdoor kitchen equipment at great prices coupled with excellent customer service.

His most recent charitable venture was helping with the hurricane relief after the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. He pledged a portion of a specific kind of hot tub sold would go to the relief fund. He has made it a part of his business plan to give back to the community and make sure that he is part of charitable donations.

He founded his first company in 1995 and it was called Inventors Publishing and Research. The company helped inventors with the marketing and getting patents on an idea. It helped them get ready to sell their product and did some of the legwork in getting the product placed on store shelves. The company also designed packaging for products and helped to manufacture them as well.

A person who knows how to do a lot of different types of business is someone who is flexible and can take their ideas and philosophies across many types of business. And that is what he does. He takes his knowledge and applies it to everything from packaging, hot tubs, customer service and charity.

His efforts to help charities will continue into the future and throughout the down economy. He has seen little change in his business since the recession has taken place as well.

Aspects of Political Corruption

The definition of political corruption is twofold. The term is used when referring to those individuals who are involved of being corrupt, usually those in the higher levels of political office. It is also used in reference for the purpose of the criminal behavior, usually this refers to the act of committed crimes to secure a hold on that political power. It is the term referenced when speaking of group or private party enrichment’s, or for the preservation of power. In general both forms are used in connection. The two processes have played the role together, in the more serious scandals and political corruption cases throughout history. On one side is the accumulation of wealth and power, and on the other side is the misuse of the public sector’s money. Most of the past literature on political corruption has referred to the accumulation of power, so evidence of the misuse of money may indeed occur more that it has been reported on in the past.

Accumulation occurs when officials of the government abuse and use their political power to take from the private citizens or sector. Taking from the revenue of the government and from the entire economy as well. Embezzlement and extraction are two terms often used in describing this form of corruption. Bribes are solicited and secured, and is quite common in the form that relates to a country’s military. This affects the entire world, and usually involves the highest level politicians as matters of national security are often at stake. When the money of the private sector or the generally public is used for the purposes of the preservation of power, this usually is in the form of patronage and favoritism. Benefits are offered for continued support and loyalty and rivals are often times paid off. By offering benefits and showing preferences to some private companies, politicians can secure campaign and party funding. They buy their votes. Political corruption is found in every country in the world, but there are many agencies that are also fighting and investigating the criminal activity, in order to attain a world, as close to a just world as possible.
