Steven Barbarich and philanthropy
Charity is so important and a very rewarding experience. And when someone makes sure it is part of their mission in business to make sure he gives back, it’s admirable. And that is what Steven Barbarich is doing. But first, let’s get a little bit of a background on Mr. Barbarich.
Barbarich is a graduate of the Harvey Mudd College with a degree in engineering. He is an inventor and author and also has his own business. He operates a website that sells hot tubs and outdoor kitchen equipment at great prices coupled with excellent customer service.
His most recent charitable venture was helping with the hurricane relief after the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. He pledged a portion of a specific kind of hot tub sold would go to the relief fund. He has made it a part of his business plan to give back to the community and make sure that he is part of charitable donations.
He founded his first company in 1995 and it was called Inventors Publishing and Research. The company helped inventors with the marketing and getting patents on an idea. It helped them get ready to sell their product and did some of the legwork in getting the product placed on store shelves. The company also designed packaging for products and helped to manufacture them as well.
A person who knows how to do a lot of different types of business is someone who is flexible and can take their ideas and philosophies across many types of business. And that is what he does. He takes his knowledge and applies it to everything from packaging, hot tubs, customer service and charity.
His efforts to help charities will continue into the future and throughout the down economy. He has seen little change in his business since the recession has taken place as well.
