ChooseHotTubsDirect and charity work
Charity work is one of the noblest things a person can do. And giving back to your community is something all local businesses and businesses in general should do as well. The CEO of one Internet Company made sure to make his voice known when it came to natural disaster relief. After the United States suffered its worst series of hurricanes after Rita, Ike and of course Katrina decided not to sit back and watch others build the communities back together. Choosehottubsdirect.com CEO Steve Barbarich decided to donate 15 bucks from every sale of a certain hot tub on his website to the relief after Hurricane Ike.
Barbarich has decided to make charity work part of his business arsenal. He believes it’s important to give back to the community if you can and does so in a number of ways. He believes that no matter what kinds of people are affected by disaster, they still deserve help.
Isn’t it great to hear about someone giving back. The CEO believes that no matter how little a person can give that it will eventually add up and make a difference. This is great encouragement for all small businesses. Because really every little bit counts in ways that you will never be able to see.
If your business cannot provide a monetary donation, think about mobilizing employees to help out or volunteer in your area. It does not have to be for disaster relief, charity work comes in all shapes and sizes and organizations need help everyday.
Think about what you enjoy in your life. If you like animals, consider volunteering with others in your company to help out the Humane Society. Or if you have a cause you support consider volunteering to walk in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event. It can lead to excellent team bonding and of course, doing good always feels good.
